Pakistan rejected on Sunday Indian allegations that it wanted to infiltrate terrorists via the Line of Con-trol, saying India’s smear campaign against Islama-bad was “well-known”.
In response to the Indian media reports of “an un-named” Indian security official who made baseless allegations against Pakistan, Foreign Office spokes-person Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said New Delhi’s smear campaign had been exposed by the EU Disin-foLab report.
The spokesperson noted that India had installed multi-tiered fence, electronic surveillance equip-ment and set up multiple layers of security, making it impossible for anything to go past LoC or enter the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir. He added that the allegations recycled occasionally had no basis to stand on
On the other hand, Chaudhri highlighted, India had been involved in state-terrorism in IIOJK and against Pakistan.
He recalled that from the Samjhota Express killings of February 2007 to the terrorist blast in Lahore in June 2021, India’s hand in the incidents targeting Pakistanis had been proven.
