Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on a suggestion from PA Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi has accorded approval in principle for establishing 500 beds mother and child hospital in Gujrat.
The CM was talking to Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi and MNA Moonis Elahi who called on him at the Chief Minister House on Monday.
In the meeting, views were exchanged about the budget session, political situation in the province, people’s welfare programme, strategy for safety against corona and further strengthening of the alliance and reservations allayed.
During the meeting, Provincial Minister Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed and Punjab Assembly Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti were also present.
Thanking the CM for according approval to establishing 500 beds mother and child hospital in Gujrat, Parvez Elahi said that in the journey for progress and development we are standing with Tehrik-e-Insaaf and Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, we are with you in the journey of serving the people. He said that the opposition neither has agenda for welfare of the people nor for combating coronavirus, former rulers did injustice with the people by ending landmark projects of my tenure. ‘We only believe in service to the people and will continue working together in the process of providing relief to the people of the province’, he added.
Elahi said that wishes of those creating rifts in the alliances will never be fulfilled.
Appreciating the efforts of Ch Parvez Elahi in smoothly running the budget session, the CM said that we are allies and will remain allies, there has been improvement in working relationship and strengthening of the alliance with Pakistan Muslim League than previously, those hoping will only be disappointed, we were one before, are now and will also remain so in future as well.
