Over4000 candidates appear in Fuuast test

More than4000 candidates appeared in the entrance test for admissions 2020 in various departments at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) here. Half of the candidates took the test in the morning shift (9:00 am to 12:00 PM) while the remaining aspirants appeared in the test from 2 PM to 5 PM . Last week, the Fuuast Directorate of Admission had announced an entry test for the Bachelor Program in Pharmacy, Computer Science, Diploma in Engineering, Commerce and other departments. According to the Fuuast Director Admissions Prof Dr Muhammad Zahid, the varsity officials conducted the entrance test successfully. The officials of the directorate had set up a reception desk, information cell and separate place for the parents to facilitate the candidates as much as possible. He informed that this year the candidates seeking admissions in the Fuuast participated in the assessment process from across the country. He told that the entrance tests were held under the supervision of renowned educationists and the results of would be announced next week. While visiting the test centers, the Fuuast Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Arif Zubair expressed satisfaction over the assessment process and said those candidates who passed the test would be able to secure admission in the varsity.
