All political opposition parties and governor Punjab have put heads together to give tough time to the PTI government.

Earlier Opposition parties were never on the same page regarding national issues like price hikes, inflation, the passage of the budget, and electoral reforms etc. In the past, even the number of opposition members was not complete in Assembly to record their protest.

Former Prime Minister and PML(N) senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has announced on behalf of the entire opposition to boycott the upcoming in-camera briefing of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) scheduled to be held on December 6.

The reason behind the boycott was as told by Opposition parties was the government’s “dictatorial” attitude and bulldozing of bills in Parliament.

But the real reason behind the boycott revealed by the opposition circles was that senior leadership of the security forces was not attending the said meeting.

The only important person likely to attend the meeting was Advisor to Prime Minister on National Security due to which Opposition parties decided to boycott the meeting also.

It is worth mentioning here that the meetings on National Security were held in the past in which senior-most leadership of security forces participated were well attended by all opposition parties.

The leadership of all opposition parties not only attended those meetings but also came up with suggestions and ideas fully.

PML(N) leader Khawaja Muhammad Asif in a TV program has given consent that there should be a No Confidence motion tabled against the present government in Parliament by the end of this month.

But Moulana Fazal ur Rehman was not in favour of this motion, he was in favour of a long march against the government.
