NPO to organize training on “Good Manufacturing Practices’’ on April 07

National Productivity Organization (NPO) would organize a workshop on “Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)” for productivity improvement in food sector on Tuesday, March 7.

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a system for ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards in effective sustainable manner, according to NPO document.

GMP covers different aspects of production like raw materials, premises, equipment, training and personal hygiene of staff.

The webinar was focusing on principles of GMP, introduction, application and assessment, process environment zoning, GMP requirement and pest control management.

The program also provides information on food handler roles in food industry, chances of safety incidents and quality and quality policy concept.

The program consists of presentation, open discussions, videos, examples and quiz.

The program has been designed for supply chain management, middle management, team leaders, production supervisor, students, hotels and restaurants. —APP
