Noted academician and Professor of Iqbaliyat (Iqbal Studies) Dr Ayub Sabir has underlined the need to transform Pakistan in line with the vision of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and teachings and philosophy of Allama Mohammad Iqbal.
He was delivering the key lecture at the monthly literary session organized by the Nazriya Pakistan Council (NPC) at the Aiwan-e-Quaid.
Movement for Pakistan, said Prof Dr Ayub Sabir was a message of hope and uprising for all those nations that were under the clutches of the colonial powers of those times and with Pakistan coming into being, they too spurred into motion, rose in revolt and gained their freedom.
Establishment of Pakistan thus, said Dr Ayub Sabir is a miracle of present times and all of us should be proud of it.
Unless we make Pakistan in accordance with the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and philosophy of Allama Iqbal, we shall be failing in our duty, said Prof Ayub
Sabir.
He called upon the youth to value Pakistan and learn from the teachings of the Heroes of Freedom. The lecture was attended by a large number of intellectuals, teachers and students.
