Nine more patients of coronavirus die in Sindh

As many as nine more patients of coronavirus died in Sindh overnight lifting the death toll to 7,514 and 431 new cases emerged when 12,888 tests were conducted.

This was stated by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in a statement issued here on Wednesday. He added that nine more patients of COVID-19 lost their lives lifting the death toll to 7,514 that constituted 1.6 percent death rate.

Shah said that 12,888 samples were tested which detected 431 cases that constituted 3.3 percent current detection rate. He added that so far 6,171,102 tests have been conducted.

against which 463,248 cases were diagnosed, of them 93.7 percent or 434,247 patients have recovered, including 341 overnight.

The CM said that currently, 21,487 patients were under treatment, of them 21,193 were in home isolation, 30 at isolation centers and 264 at different hospitals. He added that the condition of 261 patients was stated to be critical, including 21 shifted to ventilators.
