KARACHI – Actress Nimra Khan on Thursday responded decisively to critics regarding her alleged abduction, saying that she did not seek sympathy from anyone.
She urged the critics to focus their attention to the crime rather than criticizing her.
In a video shared on social media, Nimra Khan explained that her aim in raising awareness was to highlight that the incident could have involved any girl, not just her.
She stressed that the attackers were targeting any girl and that their focus was not on her specifically but on any woman, including herself, or anyone else.
Nimra Khan further clarified that her intention in speaking out was to encourage people to prioritize their own safety and to shift the focus from her to the crime itself. She stated that she does not need attention or sympathy from anyone.
Recently, CCTV footage of the alleged abduction attempt involving Khan was released.
The actress had previously used social media to inform her followers about the incident.
