Justice(R) Syed Shafqat Ali Shah Masoomi, also member of International Bar Association (IBA) while addressing a gathering and delegation of CLIFF (Culture, literary & International Friendship Forum), said that without strong Constitutional hold and effective implementations on prevailing laws, dream for economic development cannot come true.
Millions of pending court cases in our courts are creating hindrances in providing early/immediate justice to common man which is an alarming situation as it is true that justice delay is justice denied. There is dire need to enhance transparency in our judicial system and remove double standards and delaying procedures with immediate effect. Government should pay special attention to issues relating to Overseas Pakistani as they are valuable assets in shape of their remittances to run economic cycle efficiently in presence of poor exports.
He added that our law firm WLCA is trying to provide exclusive services for Overseas Pakistani for redressal of their grievances on priority basis as I am ready to fight Pakistan’s cases in International Court of Justice.
Moreover, he said that we need to provide extra facilities to our business community to promote more business opportunities as well as to fight against unemployment especially among young ones .Strict ban on imported items are also creating problems.
President CLIFF Pakistan Mujeeb ur Rehman Khan said on this occasion that Federation Of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries and Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industries may take the advantages for the legal services of WLCA, law firm, headed by Justice (R) Syed Shafqat Ali Shah Masoomi and his induction in CLIFF will be very helpful for overseas Pakistanis. On this occasion Syed Qalbe Muhammad, Mrs.Aliza Raza, Shahzad Jafri and others dignitaries were also present.
