National Bank of Pakistan is committed towards the health and wellness of its employees and their dependents. As part of Pinktober – Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Bank’s Human Resource Management Group arranged a Breast Cancer Awareness session in collaboration with OMI Hospital.
The event was held at the Head Office, Karachi on Friday.
Mr. Rehmat Ali Hasnie, President NBP (A) and Ms. Asma Shaikh, Group Chief Human Resource Management Group addressed the audience and highlighted NBP’s commitment to its employees’ wellbeing, which is being provided through various medical benefits.
Dr. Raheela Mohsin, Gynecologist and Dr. Sakina Abidi, General Surgeon from OMI Hospital highlighted the importance of timely detection of this disease and shared an overview of breast cancer followed by the screening methods and diagnostic tools of this disease.
Ms. Maria Amir, nutritionist from Tabba Institute also engaged the audience with a session on benefits of healthy nutrition and its importance in one’s daily life. The session was greatly appreciated by the participants.
