Nawaz promises to address inflation, unemployment

Pakistan Muslim League-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif on riday announced that if their party came into power, they would eradicate inflation from the country.

Mian Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz addressed the public meeting of the PML-N in Burewala on Friday afternoon.

Addressing a massive election campaign rally Nawaz Sharif said that the people were facing inflation as the bill of Rs500 is now hiked by Rs20,000.

He taunted the opponents who claimed to bring the change and asked if this was a change that the have employment while a group attacked Pakistan to divide it.

He optimistically said that a good time would come again by working hard and Burewala would be made a district of Punjab province.

Nawaz expressed empathy for the youth, stating that he loved them and was saddened that they were unemployed. He attributed this unemployment

to the former PTI government, and said if Nawaz Sharif’s government had continued, no youth would have been unemployed today.

He also thanked the people of Burewala for attending his rally in huge numbers despite the cold weather.

The ex-prime minister asked people to compare his tenure as prime minister and the situation after his ouster. Sharif also announced to update Burewala’s status as a district.

Nawaz Sharif also announced the construction of an airport and passage of a motorway from Burewala, if voted into power.

Nawaz said that with the support of the people, his party would bring Pakistan back to a prosperous state, with employment in every household.

He said they would construct motorways, high-speed railways and possibly an airport in the region.

Earlier, upon his arrival at the venue of the power show, Nawaz Sharif was accorded a rousing welcome by a jubilant crowd of PML-N leaders, workers and supporters.

Addressing the gathering, Maryam Nawaz said that everyone knows how much Nawaz Sharif has served the nation and Nawaz Sharif’s name is on every

notable project in the country.

She said the PML-N is the only party which has gone to the election based on its performance and people are calling Nawaz Sharif back due to high inflation in the country.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Muslim League-N has officially announced that its party manifesto will be unveiled today, January 27.

PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif will announce the party’s election manifesto in a press conference in Lahore.
