National cricketers who underwent training at Kakul invited by army chief for Iftar

LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Team players who underwent training at Kakul camp have been extended an invitation for Iftar by Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir.

The sources say that the players’ training will conclude on April 7 at the Kakul Camp.

The players will depart from Abbottabad on afternoon of April 7 for Rawalpindi where they will join Army Chief General Asim Munir for Iftar.

Later, on the night of April 7, the players will return to their respective homes.

The cricketers had earlier appreciated the physical training standards at Pakistan Military Academy at Kakul.

This training camp was organized for Pakistani athletes at Army School of Physical Training Kakul Abbottabad.

In the training camp, various types of physical fitness exercises are being given to the players by the instructors and special attention is being paid to the discipline and team spirit of the players during the training.

Players attending the camp expressed satisfaction on the training at Pakistan Military Academy.

They appreciated the environment and hoped that training at academy will benefit them in the future.

Staff trainer said the physical training camp has all the big players and aim of the training is to improve the quality of endurance and flexibility in the players.
