Nasir, Sharjeel pledge action against inflation, drugs

Sindh Minister Nasir Hussain Shah has pledged to tackle inflation in the province, particularly during the month of Ramadan, when prices typically surge. “We will ensure items are available at official rates,” Shah assured, acknowledging the challenges posed by rising prices. Shah also emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order in the province, affirming the government’s commitment to ensuring safety and security for all residents.

Meanwhile, Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon reiterated the government’s determination to combat the menace of drugs. He emphasized the need for daily actions to eliminate drug trafficking and addiction, particularly among the youth.

Memon outlined plans to form teams comprising competent officers to launch a comprehensive crackdown against drug dealers. He also announced incentives for officers who excel in this endeavor, underscoring the government’s resolve to address the issue effectively. “The crackdown against drugs will be intensified on a large scale,” Memon declared, signaling a concerted effort to tackle drug-related challenges in the province.
