National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) holds the authority to issue Smart National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (SNICOP), a basic registration document for eligible Pakistani citizens living abroad.
Any citizen from South Asian nation can apply for Smart NICOP for the specific country they are in, and if they have dual nationality, they can travel to Pakistan without needing a visa. It’s important to provide the passport number when applying for this document for newborns born abroad.
NADRA has two fee structures for Smart NICOP based on regions, and countries like Oman and Qatar, where many Pakistani nationals reside, fall under Zone B.
