Municipal committee employees hold protest

Thatta municipal committee employees protest has entered in fifth day against their deprived rights as they were seeking early release of salaries. Syed Inayat Shah,Abdul Sattar Qureshi, Hanif Chand were leading the protesting employees.

While highlight their demands they stated that government should release the salaries of 48 retired employees and also increase salaries of employees of Thatta municipal employees as per government policy.

They said they had staged previously a sit in and protested for rights from August 11 to 20- 2022 due to which Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, along with his personal assistants Sadiq Ali Memon,Syed Riaz Shah Sheerazi and local government minister Syed Nasir shah ,who had been arrived Thatta to review rain destruction, came at their protesting camp and assured them for justice.

They said they had ended their protest on assurances of the CM and his team but all in vain. They demanded solution of issue otherwise they threatened to keep their protest continue till the objectives are achieved.
