Maulana Fazlur Rehman, chief of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Ameer of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl,(JUI-F) said on Saturday that their movement will continue till this PTI-led government is sent packing.
Addressing a rally in Lakki Marwat, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that he would attend the rally in Lahore on December 13. The country’s economy has been destroyed by the present government.
Continuing, he said he wanted to see the army stronger. Everyone must abide by the Constitution. He blamed the present rulers for legitimizing the Indian occupation of Kashmir. “Our incompetent rulers have given India supremacy in the region,” he said.
Fazl further said that there has never been such an incompetent ruler in the entire history of Pakistan. He said that children’s future is being destroyed under the guise of coronavirus.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Democratic Movement’s leadership will meet on December 8 in Islamabad to deliberate on political options including resignations from assemblies, conducting long march or holding negotiations with the government.
Recommendations in this regard have been summoned from Pakistan Muslim League-N, Pakistan People’s Party and other members ahead of PDM’s Lahore rally.
On the other hand, PML-N senior leader Rana Sanaullah said people will express solidarity with PDM at full house ground of Minar-e-Pakistan. He said the opposition will send Prime Minister Imran Khan packing.
