In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the President of Anjuman Sharie Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, has strongly condemned the publication of blasphemous sketches in a French magazine and termed it a part of the campaign against Islam and Muslims.
Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, who is under continued house arrest since August 05, last year, in a statement issued in Srinagar said, these vicious acts are a deliberate attempt to hurt the feelings of Muslims and to create a provocative atmosphere in the Islamic world.
“These anti-Islamic elements are always trying to hurt the sentiment of Muslims,” he said, adding that love and affection with the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) is a fundamental part of the religion and faith of Muslims and any heinous act of blasphemy is not tolerable for Muslims at all.
Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi recalled that when such insulting sketches were first published in France many years ago, there was a strong reaction all over the world and many Muslims had sacrificed their lives. He said once again blasphemous sketches have been published which is condemnable.
