Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that Narendra Modi is advancing on the mission of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Pakistan is always in favour of peace and we are uprooting the menace of terrorism and extremism. Pakistan is getting stronger and prosperous because of effective policies of the government. He was addressing the closing session of Maritime Security Workshop-2019 and inaugural ceremony of Marine time Centre of Excellence here at Pakistan Navy War College on Thursday. On this occasion, Vice Admiral Muhammad Fiaz Gilani, Rear Admiral Muhammad Zubair, PML-N Senator Nuzhat Sadiq, PPP Senator Sassi Paleju, PTI MNA Amjad Ali Khan and others were also present.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that inauguration of Marine time Centre of Excellence is a matter of pride for him. Pakistan’s geo-strategic location is very important and keeping in view the international trade, we have to focus on blue economy. Allah Almighty has blessed Pakistan with very vast marine time and 95 per cent of Pakistan’s trade with world is done through sea route. Today, we have also to pay greater attention towards fish farming along the coastal line besides promoting the coastal tourism, and through these means, Pakistan can earn billions of rupees annually. Tourism is also being promoted as Pakistan can earn US $ 4 to 5 billion from this sector every year. Pakistan is currently facing with numerous challenges however all the security agencies jointly get the enemies of Pakistan lick the dust. Today Pakistan has become peaceful country and is getting stronger on economic front with every passing day.
Later, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar participated in a seminar organized by Evacuee Trust Property Board here at Punjab University. Punjab University Vice Chancellor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar, ETPB Chairman Dr. Aamir Ahmed, Indian scholars Dr. Namdar, Dr. Vind Kumar, Dr Sooraj Parakash and other also attended the semiar.
