All Pakistan Postal Circle Offices (APPCO-CBA) Employees Union Islamabad Postal Circle polls were held at the premises of FC AJK & GB Circle Islamabad in very peaceful manner.
A very tough contest was held between Mazdoor Dost Group and Shaheen Group of All Pakistan Postal Circle Offices Employees Union FC AJK & GB Circle Islamabad. From Mazdoor Dost Group Central Representative’s Shahid Ali Khan, General Secretary Raja Muhammad Javed, President Sardar Ghulam Nabi, Press Secretary Hasan Anwar and Finance Secretary Haji Muhammad Nawaz elected with thumping majority.
Muhammad Farooq Anwar, Aamir Shahzad, Kamran Sarwar, Syed Wasim Hussain Shah and Ejaz Khan of Mazdoor Dost Group had already won polls un-apposed, while Mukhtar Ahmed, Mushtaq Ahmed, Naveed Ahmed, Muhammad Saghir and Mrs Fauzia Zaman were elected as councilors with heavy lead.
In thankful address, Shahid Ali Khan, Raja Muhammad Javed and Sardar Ghulam Nabi of Mazdoor Dost Group talking to a large number of participants said that they will take to all employees with them and even those who have not voted them.
A large number of political workers of different labour unions of Rawalpindi and Islamabad participated as observer in the elections contest.
