Mohammad Usman Merakhor brought the carcass of his dog to the police station Belo to acquire a death certificate later he shifted it to Veterinary Hospital Sujawal for post mortem.
The owner of the dog who seemed overcome with grief claimed that his dog had been poisoned to death over an enmity.
“My dog was neither rabid nor harmful despite that it had been killed for no reason said Usman with tears welling up from his eyes.
The Veterinarian Aziz Palijo who performed an autopsy of the dead dog said that he had dispatched samples from the body of the dog to the laboratory for chemical examination to ascertain what kind of venomous substance was used to kill the dog. He also added that the love of an owner for his dog was peerless.
