ISLAMABAD – Major General Jawad Riaz has been appointed as the Director General of the Pakistan Coast Guards on a secondment basis.
He has replaced Brigadier Ghulam Abbas as Pakistan Coast Guards director general.
Meanwhile, Professor Dr. Ikram Ali from Barani Agricultural University has been appointed as the chairman of the Rawalpindi Secondary Education Board on a 3-year deputation.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved the resignation of Research Associate Ayesha Tokeer at the Prime Minister’s Office, effective from December 15.
The services of Assistant Executive Engineer Hussain Mahmood from the National Agricultural Research Council have been transferred to the Ministry of Communications, and he will be appointed as an Assistant Director at the National Highway Authority (NHA) on a 3-year deputation.
