Chief of Army Staff General (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday visited logistic installations of the Lahore Corps, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
General Qamar, during his visit, said efficient and smooth logistics will enhance the overall operational readiness and response capacity against adventurism by our enemy.
Lieutenant General Azhar Saleh Abbasi, Chief of Logistic Staff, Lt-Gen Aamir Abbasi, Quartermaster General and Lt-Gen Majid Ehsan, Commander for Corps were also present on the occasion.
On Tuesday, General Bajwa visited Frontier Works rganisation headquarters and was given a detailed briefing on development projects undertaken by the military engineering company.
He also appreciated the public-private partnership initiatives, saying that private sector must be “supported in greater national interest”. The army chief praised the organisation’s capacity building efforts for mega projects.
