TANK Hundreds of families of village Kot Kat have been trapped for one week after the under construction bridge of the village was swept away by flash floods. Talking to media persons on Thursday, residents of village Kot Kat Irfanullah, Kareem Khan, Amanullah and Naimat Khan noted that the only communication bridge of village Kot Kat, which was nearing its completion, was once again swept away by recent flash floods leaving hundreds of families of village Kot Kat trapped in village. They maintained that the dwellers of the area were no more able to take their patients to hospital and approach any other area of the district which added to the hardships of poor families. “The concerned authorities have turned a deaf ear to our request for rehabilitation of damaged bridge, ” they maintained and demanded of the Deputy Commissioner of District Tank and Pak Army for earliest rehabilitation of the bridge.—APP
