The Lahore High Court on Monday while hearing another petition against the increase in prices of petroleum products issued the notices to the Ministry of Petroleum and OGRA.
According to details, another petition was heard in the Lahore High Court against the increase in prices of petroleum products. The court issued notices to the federal government, Ministry of Petroleum and OGRA.
The court directed all parties to file a written reply by the next hearing. The court directed the petitioner to withdraw the name of the Prime Minister as a party.
Justice Shahid Karim heard the petition of the Judicial Activism Panel. Azhar Siddique Advocate appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
The petitioner said that there was no mechanism to increase the prices of petroleum. Justice Shahid Karim remarked that the petition was so long that it was incomprehensible.
