LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Wednesday demolished three illegal buildings in Lahore. LDA also retrieved state land worth millions of rupees from land grabbers.
The LDA teams demolished three buildings in Lahore’s Gujjarpura for violation of bylaws. In the same area, the LDA teams vacated illegally occupied state land from land grabbers.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before the operation. LDA Director Housing Captain Faraz supervised the operation carried out by enforcement teams with the help of heavy machinery and Police.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against land grabbers, violation of building and parking bylaws, and encroachments.
