Subsidy acquisition process will be made easier, better and more transparent for the convenience of farmers by consulting all stakeholders said Malik Nauman Ahmad Langrial Agriculture Minister Punjab while presiding over a meeting of farmer’s organizations to improve the method of obtaining subsidy through vouchers. It is the first time that all farmer organizations have been consulted for the welfare of the farmers.
Malik Nauman Ahmad Langrial Agriculture Minister Punjab further said that the farmers were facing problems due to the previous government’s agreements made by the World Bank. The present government has made some changes to the boundaries of the WB agreement to improve the system for the welfare of the farmers which will help farmers to get subsidies in easier and transparent manner in future.
The system will be monitored with more transparency. For the first time today, the representatives of all farming organizations have been brought together under one roof to manage the issues through consultation with more effectively. The honor of the organizations is actually the honor of the farmer.
