Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentary Leader in the Sindh Assembly Khurrum Sher Zaman on Monday met DIG Traffic Police Karachi Ahmed Nawaz to discuss the traffic situation in Karachi.
K.S Zaman expressed his concerns over the traffic problems faced by the people of Karachi and emphasized that is an important issue for the city that needed to be addressed on a war footing.
The PTI Parliamentary Leader handed a letter to DIG Traffic asking him questions regarding his department’s strategy to tackle various traffic problems. In which, he asked about number of lives lost due to traffic accidents over the last 5 years? And performance of the traffic police Karachi.
He mentioned to DIG Traffic Police Karachi that he must ensure that the traffic runs smoothly and safely throughout the city. The PTI Parliamentary Leader hopes that the DIG Traffic Police Karachi will respond positively to their concerns and queries.
