Former President and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Yaqoob Khan speaking on the Kashmir issue said Pak Army is our Army and we would in no way go towards militancy for independence of Kashmir region.
“Kashmir is the lifeline of Pakistan and will remain so. On February 5, we will again raise our voices forcefully for the Kashmir being integral part of Pakistan all over the world.”He was talking to media at the reception held in his honour by World Kashmir Forum’s Chairman Haji Rafiq Pardesi. Secretary General WKF Anwar Mansoor Khan, Sheikh Rashid Alam, Saradr Maqbool, Mirza IkhtiarBaig, RaheedGodyel , Mahmood Ahmed Khan AJK MLA Rasheed Lone and others were also present.
Sardar Yaqoob Khan said that the sacrifices of our forefathers for Kashmir will never go in vain. “Today, thanks to our struggle, the voices of Kashmiris independence are being heard all over the world.”
He further said that we are in favour of dialogue on the serious issue of Kashmir instead of fighting, adding Kashmirisof Indian occupiedarea should not consider themselves alone as“We are all one soul.”WKF Chairman Haji Rafiq Pardesi in his speech emphatically said that cause of Kashmiris is a just cause and assured full support to Kashmiris in this regard. He said that WKF is preparing a petition against Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and gaining around two million signs on it, the petition will be submitted at United Nations in New York and Human Rights Commission in Geneva.
Former Attorney General Anwar Mansoor Khan said that Kashmir issue is neither a political nor a geographical issue but pure a humanitarian issue.
