Karachi Taekwondo C’ship to continue for four days

Karachi Open Taekwondo Championship 2021 begun under the supervision of Karachi Taekwondo and this event will continue for four days. Over 70 youngsters participated in this course on first day. Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF) secretary Murtaza Bungash is supervising this event with his team members. Large number of male and females from Karachi will be participating in this event.

Technical head of this training course Muhammad Asad has stated that the purpose of this coaching course is to provide awareness to the youngsters.

Secretary PTF Karachi Khaldoon Raja said that this training course would be helpful to the youngsters players in international level events. The senior and junior category competition will be held on February 13th and 14th in this championship and in junior category the teams from rest of Karachi and rest of Sindh will be participated in this event. Whereas in Senior category competition the teams from Multan, Quetta, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar will be participated in this four days event, he added.

The organising secretary Faraz Usman stated that both males and females players are participating in this competition and around 400 players are participating in this championship from all over Pakistan. Cowmbox sports, Tripple A enterprises, ECS and Karachi’s all districts cooperation and support in this event with us and we will manage this event with the organising committee, he said.

Faraz Usman said that without Chairman of Pakistan Taekwondo Federation Colonel (R) Waseem Ahmed Janjua’s support it was hard to organised this type of big event of Taekwondo in karachi. The Taekwondo sports is booming in pakistan under the supervision of chairman PTF Waseem Janjua, he said.

He said that under 14, 17 and adult players from Peshawar, Quetta, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan and rest of sindh would be participated in this event. The winners would be received medals, trophies and gifts from Chairman PTF Waseem Ahmed Janjua, Sindh president Taekwondo Kamran Qureshi and other important personalities at the concluding ceremony of this four days Taekwondo Championship, Faraz Usman said.

Sindh Taekwondo Referee and Jury four days seminar course has started in Karachi’s K.M.H multi purpose open complex.
