KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly cold and dry weather for Karachi, Hyderabad and most districts of Sindh during the next two days.
As per the synoptic situation, continental air prevails in most parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of Sindh on Monday evening/night, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Partly cloudy weather is likely in the port city.
In Karachi, the minimum temperature will likely remain between 14-16 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and 13-15 C on Wednesday.
In Hyderabad, the minimum temperature will likely remain between 12-14 C on Tuesday and 13-15 C on Wednesday.
Dense fog/smog is likely to persist in Jacobabad, Hyderabad, Mohenjo-Daro, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki, Khairpur, Kashmore and Padidan during morning and night hours.
Meanwhile, cold and dry weather prevailed in most parts of Sindh during the last 24 hours.
Karachi received scattered light rain.
Cold waves and dense fog/smog prevailed in the upper districts
Mohenjo-Daro remained the coldest place in Sindh where the mercury dropped to 06 C.
Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 85 per cent.
In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 15 C.
Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 58 per cent.
In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 12 C.
Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 77 per cent.
Dense fog/smog disrupted traffic on inter and intra-city roads.
