A number of Kabul residents have urged the Islamic Emirate’s Interior Ministry to distribute uniforms to the military personnel as soon as feasible. They said that despite the Ministry of Interior announcing the distribution of uniforms to the ministry’s security forces for many days, it has yet to happen.
“A discipline should be established to determine whether or not this is a security force so that we may share our concerns with it,” said Wajidullah, a resident of Kabul. “When the uniform is considered ready, the only thing left to do is distribute it. They are free to do it whenever they want, as long as the government is willing to do so,” said Farhad, a resident of Kabul.
According to residents, the lack of uniforms in the country causes an increase in crime.
“We urge the Islamic Emirate’s administration to expedite this procedure as quickly as possible because there must be a difference between the country’s military and reckless gunmen.” said Abdul Hadi, a resident of Kabul. However, an Interior Ministry spokesman stated that the uniform distribution process has begun in the capital but did not indicate where or to whom the uniform had been distributed.
“In practice, the distribution process has started. Residents of Kabul will soon see their security troops outfitted in the uniforms that have been announced.” said Abdul Nafi Takur, Interior Ministry spokesman. —Tolo News
