In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities did not allow people to offer Juma prayers at historic Jamia Masjid and other big mosques in Srinagar.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the occupation authorities deployed Indian troops and police personnel in strength near the mosques and disallowed people to offer Juma prayers in Jamia Masjid, Dastageer Sahib, Dargah Hazratbal and Jamia Masjid Hyderpora in Srinagar.
The occupation authorities also prevented people from visiting the grave of the veteran Hurriyat leader and icon of the Kashmir freedom movement, Syed Ali Gilani in Hyderpora.—INP
