Announces Rs20 million as assistance for affected people of DG Khan accident

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Friday declared that the sun on July will be the dawn of a new era of prosperity and development with the victory of PTI in the AJK elections.

“The PTI will succeed in forming a government in the AJK after Gilgit-Baltistan as people are anxiously awaiting this day.”

The chief minister claimed that voters have totally rejected narrative of the opposition in AJK. “Defeat is the fate of opposition parties and they cannot together compete with PTI,” he said.

The CM said that Kashmiris are standing with the honest and trustworthy leadership and they will vote for the trustworthy leadership on July.

CM Buzdar said that the PTI would win the elections with the support of Kashmiris and blessings of Allah Almighty, adding that people would crush the idols of corruption with the power of their vote.

“PM Imran Khan has highlighted the Kashmir cause before the world and Kashmiris tremendously love him,” the CM pointed out.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar directed CPO Rawalpindi to ensure a smooth flow of traffic on entry and exit points of Murree.

The traffic police, as well as the administrative officers, should actively work to restore traffic on Murree routes and traffic congestion should be eased at the earliest to facilitate tourists.

He also appealed to the citizens to avoid going to Murree as it has a parking space of 3,200 to 4,000 vehicles while more than 60,000 vehicles have crossed Murree toll plaza by Friday evening.

On the other hand, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar appealed to the citizens to remain careful as the number of Corona patients is increasing due to the fourth corona wave.

The CM maintained that the citizens can avoid this virus by following the SOPs as it is in their interests.

“Everyone should display responsible social behaviour as the disease is spreading. The people should vaccinate themselves and wear masks as the government could adopt stern measures for protection people’s lives,” the CM concluded.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar announced Rs20 million as financial aid for the injured and heirs of passengers who died in the DG Khan road accident. He also directed the CMIT to hold an inquiry to name those responsible for the negligence.

In the light of the report, further action would be initiated against those responsible for the loss of more than 30 lives.

On the other hand, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar offered Eid prayer at his office mosque and extended felicitations to the staff while observing social distancing.

He especially prayed for the solidarity of the country and protection of oppressed Kashmiris of Illegally Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir from Indian tyranny.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar visited the central control room of Local Government Board Complex Sandha on Eid day to inspect cleanliness arrangements across the province. Secretary Local Government Noorul Amin Mangal briefed the CM about the arrangements.

Meanwhile, CM Usman Buzdar expressed sorrows over the death of senior journalist Arif Nizami and paid him tribute for his contribution to the field of journalism.

The CM also prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the heirs to bear the loss with equanimity.
