In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a meeting was held at Gonthal in Sarankot under the auspices of Pir Panjal Peace Foundation (JKPPPF) with its Chairman, Muhammad Hanif Kalas in chair.

The participants of the meeting expressed con-cern over the human rights violations by Indian troops, adding that innocent people, particularly youth were being killed in the occupied territory.

Muhammad Hanif Kalas addressing the meeting said that the Indian authorities were depriving the poor people of their lands which was unjustified and the worst kind of rights violation.

Reacting to India’s plan to ban All Parties Hur-riyat Conference (APHC) and Mirwaiz-led Hurriyat forum in IIOJK, he said that it would be tantamount to suppress the genuine voices of the freedom-loving people which would be resisted tooth and nail.

Hanif Kalas appealed to the justice-loving global institutions to prevent India from its state terrorism in IIOJK and put pressure on it to settle the lingering Kashmir dispute according to the UN resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri peo-ple.—KMS
