In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) has called for the settlement of the Kashmir dispute through dialogue involving Pakistan, India and the genuine Kashmiri leadership.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the JKPL in a statement issued in Srinagar maintained that dialogue among the three stakeholders is the best method to settle the dispute that JKPL and Hurriyat leadership has consistently advocated and even par-ticipated in.
It said resolution of the Kashmir con-flict will ensure peace and prosperity in South Asia.
The JKPL vowed to continue to work towards the peaceful resolution of the lingering dispute.
It also demanded early release of all illegally detained Kashmiris including Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in different jails of IIOJK and India.—INP
