RAWALPINDI – A special traffic route has been chalked out for Islamabad as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is set to flex its muscle in the outskirts of capital city Islamabad.
Ahead of PTI Jalsa, authorities in twin cities shared comprehensive traffic plan for PTI Jalsa scheduled at Sangjani.
Traffic Route for PTI Jalsa
For Islamabad residents, access to Jalsa will be from Margalla Avenue or Iran Avenue.
For those coming from Rawalpindi should use Dhamial Road or Girja Road to reach either Thalian or Chakri Interchange on M2 motorway. From there, proceed to the venue via Paswal Road from the AWT Interchange.
Those coming from G.T Road and Peshawar
Gujar Khan and Surrounding Areas: Use G.T. Road to Rawat, then take Chakbeli Road to the Chakri Interchange and continue on the M2.
KPK (via M1): Use AWT Interchange and then Paswal Road to reach the venue.
Wah Cantt: Travel via Brahma Jhang Bahtar Interchange on M1, then take AWT Interchange andPaswal Road.
From Murree: Follow Shahpur Road/Phulgaran Road to Khana Pull, then continue via Lethrar Road, Rawat T Chowk, Chakbeli Road, and Chakri Interchange to join the M2.
Administration cleared that all other routes from Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa and Punjab will remain closed during this period.
