The Iran’s Ambassador to Islamabad Reza Amiri Moghaddam turned to social media and congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on his election as Prime Minister of Pakistan.
In a congratulatory message on his user account on X social network, Amiri Moghaddam said “I would like to express my warmest congrats on election of Shahbaz Sharif as the 24th Pakistan PM following a successful election”. He added, “Iran expresses readiness to expand all-out mutual relations, ties, and cooperation.” “I wish peace, security & stability for the years to come for our brotherly country of Pakistan,” he further noted.
