Iran’s special envoy for Afghanistan, Hassan Kazimi Qomi, said that the Islamic Emirate lacks enough forces to secure the border between Afghanistan and Iran and that Tehran is ready to secure the border by itself.

But the Islamic Emirate denied Qomi’s remarks about the lack of sufficient forces on the border. The Iran special envoy for Afghanistan, Hassan Kazimi Qomi, said that terrorism will grow if the the current situation remains the same:

“If you say you are not recognized, but also you do not cooperate—what will happen? Of course the challenges will increase, and terrorism will be strengthened and will reach the borders,” the Iran envoy said.

Analysts said that Iran and other neighboring countries want an inclusive government in Afghanistan.

“The Islamic Emirate has properly provided the security. While Iran is demanding an inclusive government in Afghanistan, if it sees its own government it is not inclusive,” said Mohammad Matin, a military veteran.

“The Taliban said the government is getting inclusive day by day but they don’t say how,” said Torek Farhadi, a political analyst.

But the Islamic Emirate said that the formation of an inclusive government is an internal issue in Afghanistan.

“All of our troops are stationed alongside the border with Iran and are fulfilling their responsibilities. We haven’t seen any big error there. The Afghans will make their decision on time,” said Zabiullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Islamic Emirate.—ToloNews
