Indian troops stopped all traffic on Handwara-Kupwara road during a cordon and search operation in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district following which traffic was suspended on the highway, reports said.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the traffic was suspended after Indian troops during an operation found a suspicious object in the Ganapora area of the district. The Army team raised an alert, after which more teams of the Indian Army and paramilitary forces reached the site. Following this, the movement of vehicles on the highway was suspended, the reports said.—KMS
