Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three more Kashmiri youth in a fake encounter in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, today.
The troops martyred the youth during a so-called cordon and search operation in Uri area of Baramulla district. The troops also continued their violent search operations in different areas of Islamabad, Pulwama, Kulgam, Rajouri and Poonch districts.
Indian troops after picking up innocent Kashmiri youth from their homes, streets and roads take them to far off areas and eliminate them in staged encounters for promotions, awards and cash rewards. The action is aimed at defaming the Kashmiris’ freedom movement and maligning Pakistan. The Pathribal fake encounter, Machil fake encounter, and Amshipora fake encounters are glaring examples of this nefarious practice by the Indian troops. Indian soldiers had martyred five innocent Kashmiris in Pathribal area of Islamabad district in March 2000 on the eve of the-then US President, Bill Clinton’s visit to India, and labeled them as foreign militants. However, later the investigations revealed that the victims were innocent civilians who were killed by the troops in cold blood. The troops had martyred two porters in Machil area of Kupwara in 2010. In a similar incident in July 2020, Indian troops had martyred three innocent labourers from Rajouri district of Jammu region in Ramshipora area of Shopian district of South Kashmir.
On the other hand, Indian police have produced a challan in a court of India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency (NIA) against three Kashmiris including two martyrs in a false case registered against them for their affiliation with the ongoing freedom movement. The police produced the challan against Ishfaq Ahmad Wani, Jamsheed Ahmad Magray and Hanan Bin Yaqoob. While Ishfaq is illegally detained at Pulwama sub-jail Jamsheed and Hanan were martyred by Indian troops in Drach area of Shopian on October 05, last year.—KMS
