In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops launched a violent cordon and search operation in Poonch district of Jammu region.
The Indian Army and Border Security Force personnel during the operation opened fire in Kar-mara area of the district but there was no immediate report of any casualty, officials said. They said that the whole area was cordoned off and a search opera-tion was underway.
Meanwhile, the troops also continued their cor-don and search operations in different areas of Is-lamabad, Pulwama, Rajouri and other districts.—KMS
