Indian soldier commits suicide in Jammu

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian Army soldier committed suicide by shooting himself in Jammu city.

The soldier, who was on sentry duty, committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with his service rifle at Jourian camp in Jammu.

The body was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) hospital by a police party for post-mortem. This incident raised the number of such deaths amongst Indian troops and police personnel in the occupied territory to 541 since January 2007.

Meanwhile, a policeman was injured after his rifle went off accidentally near Tehsil Office Khag, in Budgam district.—KMS
