Indian police arrest JKML Acting Chairman Ahad Parra

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police, today, arrested the Acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML), Abdul Ahad Parra.

The police arrested Abdul Ahad Parra on the occasion of his appearance in the Baramulla court in a false case registered against him under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in 2015.

When the JKML Acting Chairman reached a court in Baramulla for appearance, the police arrested him there. After his arrest, he was shifted to Baramulla sub jail.

Meanwhile, the JKML in a statement issued in Srinagar strongly condemned the arrest of Abdul Ahad Parra and appealed to the international human rights organizations to take notice of the illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders, activists and other people in IIOJK.—KMS
