In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police have arrested the All Parties Hurriyat Conference APHC leader, Bilal Siddiqi, in Srinagar.

The police arrested Bilal Siddiqi after raiding his house in Rajbagh area of the city. He has been lodged at Rajbagh police station in Srinagar.

The APHC spokesman in statement strongly denounced the arrest of Bilal Siddiqi. He termed the move as illegal and inhuman act of Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government. He maintained that such actions cannot stop the Hurriyat leaders from pursuing the ongoing freedom struggle.

The Democratic Hurriyat Front in a statement issued in Srinagar also expressed serious concern over the arrest of Bilal Siddiqui and said that a military operation has launched by Indian in Kashmir against the Hurriyat leadership and pro-Huriyat people.—KMS
