In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Paerwan-e-Wilayat Jammu and Kashmir has said that India is maintaining its illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir through its military might.
A spokesman for Paerwan-e-Wilayat in a statement in Srinagar said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered an arrogant speech while addressing India troops in IIOJK on the occasion of Diwali, the Hindu festival observed on Thursday.
He said India has deployed more than 50 companies of paramilitary forces in the occupied territory which have also taken over public places including wedding halls in Srinagar to create a sense of fear among the masses.
The spokesman said that Indian troops could be seen everywhere in the streets and alleys of Srinagar and other towns.
He said that the aggressive policy adopted by Modi’s fascist government towards Jammu and Kashmir would have serious consequences.
The spokesman said that despite Indian atrocities, Kashmiris were determined to take their ongoing freedom movement to its logical conclusion.
He called upon the international community particularly the UN to put pressure on India to give the Kashmiris their birthright, the right to self-determination.—KMS
