Srinagar

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, residents of Bhagat, Srinagar, are up in arms against the Indian authorities for allowing construction of a commercial complex in the residential area.
Tthe local said that the Modi-led fascist government had started encroaching upon even the residential areas to convert them into commercial ones to sell Indian traders. They said the work on the building has resumed despite Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) had ordered suspension of work after locals complained the structure was designed to be used for commercial purpose.
Muhammad Arif Butt, President of local Mohalla committee Nawichbagh, Mehboob Colony Bhagat, said the authorities have restarted construction work on the building a few days ago. “We had earlier talked to the owner who assured us that the building is for residential purpose and that he has no intention or plans to use it for any commercial purpose.”—KMS
