Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Security Division and Strategic Policy Planning Moeed Yusuf on Sunday again reminded the world that India is conspiring against Pakistan from Afghanistan. Yusuf added that peace in the region depends on India moving in the right direction.
In an exclusive interview to Turkish news agency Anadolu on Sunday, he said, “We even pointed out that India is being a spoiler in Afghanistan, undermining Pakistani sovereignty and stability. That s the adversity you re dealing with.”
Regarding Kashmir dispute, the SAPM urged the United Nations that it has a responsibility to deliver on its promise on the Kashmir issue, adding that the Kashmiris are frustrated with the non-implementation of UN resolutions.
Moeed Yusuf went on to say that Pakistan wants peace in the region. “We have a comprehensive security policy aimed at human security and well-being, he said and added Pakistan believes in international law.
He said that India needs to take the right steps to resolve the Kashmir issue, adding that peace in the region depends on India moving in the right direction. Pakistan will continue to actively believe in its position and legitimate demands to the world.
The national security adviser further said that the three pillars of Pakistan s vision are regional peace, transit and development partnership, adding that Pakistan is open to provide economic bases to entire world.—APP
