The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, visited the CTD Complex and Security Division. During the visit, he inspected various offices and branches of the CTD Complex and Security Division.
He issued orders to the officers to ensure timely attendance in the offices. He further directed the officers to personally check all duties and ensure the best performance of their official responsibilities.
Officers should be fully briefed and equipped with all necessary gadgets before being sent on duty. Negligence and carelessness in duties will not be tolerated. During the visit, IGP Islamabad also reviewed the ongoing construction works at the CTD Complex.
Additionally, he issued orders to the Security Division officers to enhance the security of embassies. He emphasized ensuring an effective search process at the entry and exit points of the Diplomatic Enclave and effective monitoring of these routes with Safe City cameras.
He further said that, Islamabad Police is actively engaged in maintaining peace and order in the federal capital and ensuring the safety of citizens’ lives and property.
Citizens are urged to cooperate with the police and immediately report any suspicious items or activities to the emergency helpline “Pukar 15” or ICT – “15” app.
