Huawei successfully launched its fourth ICT competition 2019-2020 in August 2019. Seven roadshows at MUET Jamshoro, UIT Karachi, BUITEMs Quetta, University of Peshawar, City University Peshawar, KUST Kohat and USA Lahore have been officially conducted. More than 4000 students have benefited from the awareness sessions and 2000 plus students have registered on the online portal for the Huawei ICT competition 2019-2020.
The competition is an attraction for the university students. Through this they will not only gain valuable ICT knowledge but will also experience opportunity to enhance exposure and learning capabilities. This is the fourth time Huawei has introduced this beneficial competition in Pakistan.
Participants who will qualify the national final round will not only be given the chance to visit Huawei Headquarters at Shenzhen China, they will also be awarded Huawei Mobile Phones as part of appreciation and reward. Free HCIA and HCIP certification vouchers will also be offered to the top position holders. As part of the competition, Huawei offers all participants’ access to free courses and learning materials as well as opportunities for free online exchanges, learning, and preparation. By doing so, Huawei hopes to provide opportunity for quality education for the young generation of Pakistan and that more people can benefit from the digital economy.
