ICC T20 World Cup 2024: Babar admits batting slump over loss against India

NEW YORK – Pakistan Captain Babar Azam said that some balls did not come onto the bat as expected.

Babar Azam gave these remarks after losing 19^th match of ICC T20 World Cup 2024 against India on Sunday.

Babar Azam said that the pitch was good, the ball was coming onto the bat well, and the first 10 overs of batting were played well but the remaining 10 overs of the innings did not go as well.

India beat Pakistan by six runs at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

India set a 120-run target after Pakistan won the toss and opted bowl first. In response, Pakistan could score 113.

The carelessness, irresponsibility, and negligence of the batters caused Pakistan to lose the match against India, failing to chase a target of 120 rruns.

It may be mentioned here that it is the second defeat to Pakistan as earlier it lost match against USA.
